We are supporting a major international contractor delivering a large-scale rail programme in the Greater Toronto Area. With extensive works taking place within a live operational environment, they are looking to strengthen their team with experienced track professionals.

This is a key opportunity to join a high-profile project where works must be carefully planned and executed alongside operating rail services, requiring a strong focus on safety, coordination, and delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support track construction, installation, maintenance, or renewal worksCoordinate activities within live rail corridors, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsInterface with operations teams, controllers, and subcontractors to plan safe access and work executionLead or support site crews, supervisors, and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with safety standards, operating rules, and project proceduresMonitor quality, productivity, and progress across track worksSupport planning and execution of possessions, work blocks, and track accessRequirementsStrong experience in rail track (construction, maintenance, or operations)Experience working within live railway environments is highly desirableBackground in roles such as Track Supervisor, Foreman, Superintendent, Protection Specialist, or similarSolid understanding of rail safety, access planning, and coordination with operationsExperience with ballasted track, direct fixation, switches and crossovers is beneficialStrong leadership and communication skillsProfile
